This new offering from New Sensations' Romance series aims straight at the young-female demographic and hits the target. Ashlynn Brooke is getting married today, and the usual complications and second thoughts are increased by the specter of lost love — a moony Tony DeSergio, lamenting that he never made a move on her himself and bearing a pearl necklace (!) from her hubby-to-be. Groom Mikey Butders has the same problem with his ex, Lyla Storm, who makes a play for him and gets nowhere, just as DeSergio did.

The impending wedding a few hours away brings out the true confessions in everyone, with members of the wedding party coupling up right and left, including a bridesmaid and a groomsman; the mother of the groom and another groomsman; the groom's sister and her groomsman boyfriend; and the spurned ex-lovers DeSergio and Storm. Even the happy couple succumbs to the horny vibe and gets together before the wedding, after he gets on one knee and declares his eternal love for her.

The scenes are well-shot and deliberately paced, with tight close-ups and moody lighting. There is also a lot of condom use, which looks like a deliberate choice to further please the demographic.

The production aims high, with dramatic dialogue and music underscoring the action, and the situation(s) will hit a responsive chord with the target audience. The explicit sex scenes will reward those guys who have to endure the dialogue.

It starts with a romantic encounter between “buzz hot” starlet Tori Black and Rocco Reed. She's a writer, nominally, but she's been blocked since hubby died. She needs a change. Enter free-spirit Lexi Belle, who has invited a couple of guys over to snap Tori out of her funk.

One of the guys, Danny Mountain, is fumble-mouthed and depressed, but not too depressed for Black to imagine him nailing her slutty sister by the pool. When Lexi and Johnny get together (Imagine "When Harry Met Sally" in about 50 seconds of hurried dialogue, followed by an unhurried sex scene) the sight reminds Black of what she's been missing. Talking with Mountain, she learns that he lost his girlfriend three years ago. When they head for the bedroom, a ghostly Reed heads for the door. Life goes on.
