One Breath at a Time
From the moment this story opened, and the protagonist Kelley meets troubled Tom, I knew she was in for one hell of a bumpy ride, and would be made to suffer for both her Master's pleasure, and ours. Gwen Masters' One Breath at a Time should be changed to One Weight Bench at a Time, (when you read the book you'll understand) in this very sexy peek into the life of a couple in a Dominate and submissive relationship, where boundaries are tested, and fantasies are enacted, and all within the bonds of love. To be honest, I only picked up this book to see what it was like with the intention of putting it down on my to be read pile and getting on with something else first. Two hours later I was finished and typing up the review with very sticky fingers! Too much information? You'd better get used to it if you want to read this book. I hate to admit it, but it's my job as a reviewer to be truthful, at one point I was so wrapped up in this story I actually shed a tear. Maybe it was a hormonial thing, a woman's problem, or maybe the problems our character's faced just hit too close to home. Either way, the characters were so real, warm and loving, I cannot fail to recommend this title, and sing its praises! Next time another one of Gwen Master's books comes up for review, I shall be there, sitting crosslegged on the floor with my right hand held high in the air, waving for teacher's attention, fit to burst, singing me, me, me, very quickly just like a naughty schoolgirl. And if I don't get it, I shall scream and scream until I am sick. What do you mean, I am a naughty schoolgirl? Angelika Devlyn
