About J.Z. Sharpe

My "real life" name is Joan Zachary Shapiro, but on the ERWA web site and list, I am known by my pen name, J.Z. Sharpe. I am here because I write erotica, but I also write science fiction, and in my favorite stories, I combine them.

I like to arouse my readers (of course!), but I also like to make them think. Therefore, you may find yourself reading my stories twice-once for the fun, and a second time as food for thought. My literary influences are varied and always changing, but would include Ray Bradbury, Margaret Atwood, Isaac Asimov, the StarTrek universe, Story of O, and last but best, John Gardner, perhaps the greatest writing teacher who ever lived.
