A friend of mine has been hooked on cyber-love since the first day he got the Internet. He met many of his online loves in real life. The problem comes when he forks over his hard-earned cash to run off to meet the new love of his life. The lust is wonderful for a few weeks. He's head over heels and they make plans for one or the other to move. Then the wheels fall off. This whole thing gets me to thinking. I have had not luck with this. Every man thinks that if they lie and we meet it's ok. I have done this 4 times with different results. 1. not telling he was married. 2. Was bald 3. Extremely overweight. 4. 15 years younger than me. I haven't tried this again nor do I tend to. I know that women do this also and I don't get it. Lying is something I cannot tolerate! Yes, I found love on the Internet.  Long story short...hubby had been messaging long before me, and it wasn't all innocent.  Then I started chatting and met a man in a chat room about four hours away.  The attraction was instant.  For both of us.  I didn't want to say I loved him for a long time, b/c I was married for crying out loud.  But we met, and continued to meet for eight years.  I loved him with every fiber of my being, and still do; and he felt the same way.  I know without a doubt that he is my soul mate.  We are just so connected...we know each other's thoughts and finish each other's sentences.  I've just never met a man like him.  What a lover...just the touch of his hands on me could melt me; he knew just what to do and how to do it.  

But, we are now history, after I told him I just couldn't do this anymore.  I felt such guilt about doing this to my husband, even though I'm 99 percent sure that he's done some cyber-straying of his own.  I could not leave my husband for this man, nor could he leave his wife...we are both just too old to start over.  I'm ever grateful for the time we had together.  I miss him everyday, I long for him, my heart is breaking, and wonder if I did the right thing.

After a week of heavy flirting with a sexy New Yorker on-line, I am now depressed and desperate. I met my current and all-time love online during the early days of AOL. She was a Long Island divorcee and I was a Texas-based BBS operator. I definitely believe that people can find love via internet. I didn't think I did, until about a month ago. I met a wonderful man and the moment we met I knew there was something between us. I think that people get to know each other better this way. I know everything about him and his family. I Love him very much only thing is I'm married, My husband knows how I feel about him in fact they talk. I love my husband as well and nothing and I mean nothing will ever come between us, My Cyber lover knows this and it is hard but if it is all we can have we will take it, rather than live without each other in our lives.
