Contrary to some views expressed here, there ARE significant health risks to be considered. Uncut males are four times as likely to contract AIDS from an infected female than a male who is cut ... the reason is that the skin behind the glans of an uncut cock is far thinner and it can be penetrated by the AIDS virus while the thicker skin of a cut cock resists the penetration of the virus. I have had the advantage of both worlds. I was uncut until my late 30's when because of an illness my foreskin shrank and began to split and bleed every time I had intercourse. I was married at this time (still married to the same lovely lady) and there were no complaints about sex. My wife liked to play with the foreskin before intercourse. I am a man living in the UK, and I am cut. I was not cut at birth, but at 7 years old, because I had had an infection. In the UK, and much of the rest of Europe, Jews get cut, and so do people that have medical reasons, but it does not happen as much as in the US. Just to add to the other comments, the usage of hygiene reasons for cutting a male's penis is nonsense and comes from a time when masturbation was considered "dirty" and it was thought that cutting a boy would stop him from masturbating in later life. 

It is not cleaner to have a cut penis (they need washing just as much as a natural penis !), so if you are thinking of cutting your child because it is "cleaner" you are actually subscribing to the belief that masturbating is dirty and you want to prevent them from doing it !

It is a long proven but not widely accepted fact that the hygiene factor related to circumcision is a load of nonsense. It is not accepted because Daddies tend to want to give their sons what they have had and they don't want them to be any different. 

Also a load of nonsense is that the cut penis is more sensitive than the uncut one. Those that say this have never experienced sex with an uncut penis and common sense tell us that a penis that is protected by its natural skin is going to be more sensitive and more sensual and the way it is supposed to be. Why interfere? 

Jewish and Americans are the main groups who tend to routinely cut shortly after birth...the Jews for cultural reasons and the Americans for misguided hygienic reasons but becoming more cultural. There is no good reason to cut your boys penis, there are lots of good reasons to keep it intact.
