I circumcised my son. I got this huge guilt trip from the doctor but I know little boys they don't like to wash their hands let alone anything else. In the long run I think its better to have it cut since as young children it's less horrific to go to the doctor with an infection and feel humiliated. Well, my experience being only one of each, I am definitely in favor of the uncut, au naturale. Seconds to the perceptions of higher sensitivity and more variety of things to do. There are some very interesting views here.... I was cut just one day after I was born. Whilst there can be an argument for circumcising babies and infants for medical reasons, I feel that cutting for fashion or aesthetic reasons cannot be justified. The doctor who cut me removed over 70% of my penile skin, cut out my frenulum and severely scarred my glans. There are always risks associated with every operation.

The choice of whether to be cut or left in tact should be left to the owner of the penis and at an age when he is capable of making his own choice. Whilst I have had many relationships with some lovely ladies, I have been left impaired and disadvantaged even after having seven, yes seven further operations to reconstruct and graft skin on to my penis. Intercourse or masturbation has always been painful. My present partner who is Scandinavian is very supportive but cannot understand why or how anyone could cut off the end of a little boys penis.

This operation (Circumcision) is nearly illegal in that part of the world. It has been recognized for years that this operation does not offer any health benefits. I am unable to cover the glans of my penis with my remaining skin and apart from having to put up with the sight of my scarred mutilated mess, I just have to suffer the abrasion, chaffing and discomfort of my penis for the rest of my life. So....circumcision never did me any good and if you are thinking about having your son circumcised, please think twice.
