I read about a study several years ago that seemed to me extremely interesting.  A writing class at a university were unknowingly made subjects of this study.  They were asked to write a paragraph describing their sensations of orgasm, anonymously and revealing only whether the writer was male or female.

Researchers then edited out references to gender (e.g., "penis" or "clit" or "vagina" were replaced by general, neutral terms), and they had the handwritten descriptions typed, and the "M" or "F" encoded.  Later they handed the neutered, typed, coded descriptions back out to the students.  Each read several and tried to guess the sex of the writers.  When they broke the code, nobody had been able to tell reliably whether the writer was a man or a woman.  We feel the same things!
