But … how?

My wife and I have been married for twelve years and are talking about trying swinging (or "the lifestyle" or whatever you want to call it). Does anyone have any advice on how to get started - what to look for, what to avoid, etc.? All tips will be greatly appreciated!  —Noel

We started to swing two summers ago and very much enjoy the lifestyle.  It was viagra that provided our impetus.  Once my husband had regained his ability to get and maintain an erection our sex life took off again.  It had been dormant for about eight years and although he is a very handsome and slim man, my husband appeared to have lost interest in both the opposite sex and the sex act.  I had an affair which lasted about 18 months and when that came to an abrupt end I was left longing for my three times a week 'sexual fix'.  I pleaded with hubby to take some interest in sex and he agreed to a course of viagra.  The results were stunning and we had some of the best sex in our 45 year marriage, really amazing to see hubby desiring and demanding sex after being so disinterested.

Can I take a few minutes to relay our story?  We are both late 50's, married in 1980, kids fully grown, living very comfortably, I'm a lawyer, my wife is in PR.  We have just finished a year of some very discreet, low key swinging with other couples, some our age, some much younger.  Both of us enjoyed our experiences greatly and we have only suspended our activities to ensure our careers stay on course.

As a postscript, the errant son has recent apologized and after an exchange of emails with my wife, it looks like we will invite him to join us for a threesome.  If so, then we will of course insist on safe sex throughout, certainly until he regains our trust.
