In my case, closer I get to having my menstrual period, more easily aroused I am. Sexual urges are strongest 3-5 days before the periods start and almost completely vanish by 2nd or 3rd day of bleeding. I do not really have much of libido from that time to until after the ovulation. I wonder how many other women have same experience.

The first couple of days my flow is heavy and the cramps are really bad. I prefer frank talk to euphemisms for all bodily matters. My long term wife was on the pill and had very short light periods since before we were married. When we got married we got a whole set of maroon towels. She didn't have period for two years after going off the pill.
