Does anyone have any thoughts on preferred or interesting positions, specifically what people like or don't like about having sex while standing up?

Personally, I can only manage sex standing up if hubby and I are in the shower, but that never lasts long because every time we get going, I recall the shower sex scene from Kentucky Fried Movie, and well... Let's just say hysterical laughter isn't conducive to having sex in any position.

My partner is 5'9" and I'm about 5'5", so maybe this helps make stand-up sex a little easier. Somehow we have managed to find an upright scissor position that works for a short durationuntil you get too aroused and it's hard to stand!

Back in the dark ages, when I was still having sex, I didn't much like to do it standing up, at least not for more than a couple of minutes as part of a variety of positions enjoyed during the session. It's difficult for a woman, especially a heavy woman, to spread her legs and keep her balance while being pummeled from one direction or the other. Usually a wall or a bed or the back of a couch would need to be used for support. Although I must say, I have this large chair with a nicely padded back that's at the exact right height to lean my hips against for a rear approach.

Sex in the shower scares me as there's always the danger of slipping, and to be honest, the heat coupled with the increased activity gets me feeling very faint very fast. So again, a couple of minutes and then I'm heading for the bed.

The other problem with standing-up sex is that it's really hard to stay on your feet when you're having an orgasm!

I prefer a lying down position - on top, on bottom, spoon style, scissor style, doggie style... Well, that last isn't really lying down, but anything is great as long as I have something stable underneath me or my lover.

I have got it from behind while standing up, but I had to bend over. I've bent over a chair, a table, a sofa, a toilet, against a tree, the wall, and just bent over and supported myself with my hands on my knees.
