What's a turn on/off about guys? The first turn on is his voice? Then comes his legs, his back, the way he moves, and what he does in those few moments before he kisses you. If his mouth looks full of spit, or is hanging much too far open, forget it. I'd probably go for the cheek and walk away. Oh yes, and if he wears a watch. People use their cell-phones for the time, but a watch is an acceptable piece of jewelry to me, and a definite turn on.

Those are the superficial things that attract me to a guy. Other than that, I like 'friends'. The kind of guy I can sit up all night playing games with (friendly competition), then be so stoked about winning that we're not too tired to accept the prize <:-) I also like a bit of a champion who'll pick up my car and take it to get fixed then pretend he did it himself (even if I know better), and one who'll pick up an apple because he knew I didn't get breakfast. I also like a guy who works very hard, even when his job sucks. Instead of coming home complaining, or slacking all day, he puts in one hundred percent. My father and his brother are like that, and my mom and aunt always went the extra mile to show their appreciation.

This list could go on forever, but for me it's not all about the physical. I prefer a man who is faithful(in more ways than one), thoughtful, playful, intelligent, and strong in a way that even if he's 3' tall to my 6', I still feel like a cherished woman when he hugs me. I won't compromise on his voice, because he shouldn't sound like he's whining when he's upset, he should sound firm. But, if he's not the best looking man in he world, the previously mentioned virtues should make him irresistible.

I wonder if that type of man exists, because he would be a product of individual characteristics that I admire in men I've known.

I was attracted to my current man by 1) his voice, deep and booming, 2) his height, I like them tall and/or thick, 3) his eyes that sparkle when he smiles, and 4) his caramel skin.  But, what he says many times turns me off completely. Thank God we are all attracted by different things but for me there are some must haves. A really nice voice that makes me start thinking about sex immediately is lovely. Eyes are very important, a guy who has eyes that look right at me and make me want to just want to swim in those liquid pools of warmth makes me very hot.

Then there is the way that he moves. Men who have abrupt jerky ways of walking or moving are likely to carry that into the bed; no thanks. I like a man who moves with confidence, with cadence in his stride.

Of course there are the usual other things, nice tight ass, tall, (I'm 5/7) long slender legs and NOT FAT! When you get up to fifty, a bit of a belly is pretty much the norm so you can overlook that if the rest is all right but blubber is not attractive in either gender. Try to remember that when you are criticizing women.

A man with a sense of humor is a sexy man. period. A man who is interested in someone other than himself is also a turn on. Intelligent, well read, active, open minded: these qualities are very important also to me. Sex begins in the head.

We are all in our sixties now, and while I don't know the full detail of our friends' sex lives, in the discussion with them around our dining table recently all the wives agreed that if we met a man at a party, above all we wanted one who was non-threatening, kind, gentle, not aggressive, preferably mid-thirties, good-looking, intelligent but not a show-off, nor dull, certainly solvent, his own place, and, yes, we all wanted him to have a big cock and be outstanding in bed. We weren't worried if he was married since we weren't looking for a husband, and we didn't appear to worry about his wife, we wanted a partner for theatre and concerts, not a life-long companion.
