Controlling Jealousy

Jealousy is probably one of the largest concerns when a new couple starts swinging beyond the is my dick or tits big enough. Being the amateur psychologist that I am, I enjoy psychoanalyzing others at a party.

We were lucky in that our initial forays into wife swapping was with a great group of people and that my wife was understanding of my lack of impulse control. Like most guys, I let my little buddy make all my decisions for me.

For a guy, going to a swingerโ€™s party is like being locked in a Krispy Kreme with an empty stomach and a Keurig on automatic.

When a new couple shows up, itโ€™s like throwing raw meat to the lions as everyone wants a taste. For a guy, itโ€™s that moment when you realize that not only are you going to get laid, but your significant other is also a prime target.

The first few times at a House Party can be stressful as you may not know many people, and how youโ€™re going to perform under pressure is a polite way of describing the situation. As a guy, performance anxiety is a common thing that rears its ugly head, unlike what you really want to raise. After all, she only has to lay there. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Like most things, practice makes perfect, and youโ€™ll quickly recover the woody when you discover that everyone is about the same as you. Swingers are like everyone else, just with fewer morals.

My recommendation is to try, and both of you get lucky at the same time. Itโ€™s hard to be jealous when youโ€™re getting your ashes hauled at the same time as your wife is screaming out someone elseโ€™s name. This is why I recommend that you start with house parties and not couple-on-couple.

It would seem that two on two would be better for newbie couples, but I donโ€™t think thatโ€™s the case. From personal experience, Iโ€™ve found that when you get together with another couple, the chances that everybody will hit it off are rare. You donโ€™t want to start out getting your lights drilled out while your other half is staring at someone he/she has no interest in.

If you go to a party with, say, ten or fifteen other couples, the chances both of you score is much better. Plus, you donโ€™t have to do what we call a โ€œcharity fuck.โ€ As much as I hate to admit it, there is one woman in our circle that I use every excuse I can find not to get together with her.

Sheโ€™s really nice, and Wifey enjoys the company of her husband, but she just doesnโ€™t ring my bell. She gets mad at me for ducking her and gripes to my wife that I wonโ€™t fuck her. I realize that the worst I ever had was wonderful, and I can go to Hell for culling, but Iโ€™d actually rather do without.

New couples almost always makeup rules to corral the other half but in actuality, that rarely works out. If you tell your wife, โ€œI donโ€™t want to see you on your knees with a waiting line,โ€ good luck with that.

If your spouse breaks a rule, take a breath, and donโ€™t explode. They can get caught up in the heat of the moment and do something against the rules. In most cases, what youโ€™ll figure out is that the rules slowly fade away as you become more comfortable in the Lifestyle.

Donโ€™t argue in front of others. Wait until youโ€™re alone to air your grievances. Most of the time, these little things will work themselves out. Iโ€™m sure youโ€™d rather have her head banged against the headboard at a party rather than at a long lunch with a co-worker?

Seriously, the first few times are the toughest, and you have to realize that consensual sex with others is not love but lust. If you are a committed couple and in a stable relationship, the Lifestyle can be entertaining and a lot of fun. Swinging will not help a bad marriage but will only hasten its demise.

We were talking the other day about how much fun weโ€™ve had since we started swinging. With COVID-19, there is little we can do beyond talking about it. A fair percentage of the women in the Lifestyle are exhibitionists, and the show at a party is worth the price of admission. Itโ€™s kind of like watching People of Walmart without having to click the Next button and dodge the ads.

Itโ€™s also interesting that bi-sexuality is common among women but rare with men, at least in our group. My wife plays for both teams and is bad about taking my current prospect off my hands, but at least I get to watch and have sloppy seconds.

Weโ€™ve talked a lot lately about cuckold husbands with their Hotwives at ERWA, and several of our friends are into that kink. In general, Lifestyle couples accept pretty much any form of aberrant behavior as long as it doesnโ€™t stain your new shoes.

We have an us against them attitude with the normal people or โ€œstraightsโ€ as we call them. Straights wander around with their head in the clouds, completely oblivious to whatโ€™s going on around them. Occasionally, at 3 A.M., a group of us will run into a group of straights at Dennyโ€™s or IHOP, which usually results in the straights leaving in disgust at our behavior. There is nothing worse than telling a group of swingers that you find their attitude or dress code offensive. Iโ€™m sorry that my wifeโ€™s short skirt and open blouse offends you. Not!

Itโ€™s not as bad in Las Vegas as it was in the Midwest. People here usually just roll their eyes and return to reading the National Enquirer about aliens at Area 51. Once you get away from the Strip, itโ€™s amazing how conservative the rank and file are, but they tend just to ignore us.

Iโ€™m Larry Archer, a smut writer, and this is my time of the month to spout off about completely useless topics of little relevance. If you are looking to entertain yourself with some hot stroke erotica with a humorous bent, check me out at LarryArcher.blog. New Year’s Resolution Going Down in Flames

by Larry Archer

I must admit that Iโ€™m a failure at New Yearโ€™s Resolutions. Amid our annual New Yearโ€™s Eve Pajama Party, I made a promise to myself that I would focus on writing my porn and get stuff pushed out the door.

I didnโ€™t promise to stop jerking off, lose weight or exercise more. Didnโ€™t promise to stop beating my wife. The only thing I promised myself was to write erotic stories and get them published. One simple task and I utterly failed at it.

Being honest with myself, I have to admit that I have published two well-received stories in 2019 so far, Idle Hands and a box set, Swingers Box Set. While I did get those two stories out the door, I now find myself working on four stories at the same time and not being able to finish any of them as I canโ€™t seem to focus on one story.

This is like in engineering, we have the expression, โ€œThere comes a time in every project when you have to fire the engineer and go into production.โ€ Which loosely translates into, โ€œEngineers are never satisfied and will continue to tweak something forever or until the cows come home.โ€

When you publish at Amazon, one of the things that you learn is the 30-day cliff. After about 30-days, Amazon will start sliding you further down in the search engine results. This means that when a reader searches for erotica, your stories will stop popping up in the search results no matter how good the story.

SmashWords doesnโ€™t do this and ranks stories by popularity, no matter when they were released. For example, if you search for best-selling erotica in the SmashWordsโ€™ Menage/Multiple-Partners category, you will find my story, Crashing The Swingerโ€™s Pajama Party is number sixteen in this category. The amazing thing about this is that this 80,000-word story was released in June 2018, a year ago and is still number 16 in the multiple partnerโ€™s best seller category!

As you might imagine, an 80,000-word story doesnโ€™t just happen overnight, and there was a lot of work plowed into the story. If you publish at SmashWords, your stories get to stand on their own feet and donโ€™t disappear in the distance after 30-days. To me, this tells me that my ROI (Return on Investment) is better at SmashWords than at Amazon. However, the fact that Amazon Kindle reaches millions of more readers than SmashWords will often make up the difference.

To accomplish the same type of ranking at Amazon Kindle, you need to publish often and at least once a month or more. This is why, at our New Yearโ€™s PJ Party, I promised myself that Iโ€™d focus and publish regularly. However, this resolution got lost in the orgy room along with my clothes as best I can remember.

Currently, I have four or five stories in various stages of completion, with most around 20,000-words or about half-finished at best. I just canโ€™t seem to focus on one story and get it out the door.

What will happen to me is that I see something or get an idea for a story and cannot help but start working on it. I feel that I need to get my initial thoughts down before I get distracted by something else.

Itโ€™s like the curly headed brunette on the new Sally Beauty Supply billboards. Iโ€™m in love with her, much to my wifeโ€™s amusement. The truth is that being from Texas, we all love big hair and the girl on the billboard looks so much like Foxy that I canโ€™t help but blow her a kiss every time I pass that billboard.

I will see something like the brunette and get an idea for a story, which is why Iโ€™m my own worst enemy. Once I get distracted, I will write madly away just like Don Quixote when he sees a new windmill, just without Sancho Panza.

Growing up on a farm, left me with the life-long curse of waking up at the crack of dawn only without cows to milk. Foxy reacts negatively to being woken before 9 AM, and so Iโ€™ll often lie in bed and think about my latest story.

Iโ€™ve found that I can let my characters act out their fantasies in my mind. I will slip out of bed, grab my laptop, and drive to a nearby fast-food restaurant for coffee. At that point, itโ€™s just a matter of downloading my brain onto my trusty MacBook Air.

I fully realize that Iโ€™d sell more if I concentrated on one story at a time and got it out the door, but what I should do and what I actually do are two different things. Luckily, writing smut is not something I have to do to keep the wolf away from the door.

Itโ€™s been almost seven years since I published my first erotic story. Previously, the only thing Iโ€™ve done remotely close are presentations on how to throw a house party at Lifestyle conventions. Writing erotica allows me to take things weโ€™ve seen and done and convert them to a story, which someone will hopefully enjoy reading and possibly wank off to.

Follow me at LarryArcher.blog for more of my ruminations, and until this time next month, Iโ€™m off like a prom dress.

Erotic Lure – Winter 2017

Erotic Lure banner

Dear Lecherous Literati,

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays has past, we can get back to serious matters. Like sex. Sure, mistletoe and champagne can ramp up the romance , but seriously, during November and December one hardly has the time to indulge.

Weโ€™re deep into January now, with short days and long nightsโ€”perfect for erotic exploration. Here at the Erotica Readers & Writers Association, youโ€™ll find everything you need to turn up the heat and keep the thrills coming until spring.

Being an author myself, I always like to start in the Erotica Gallery. In this edition, we have a steamy half-dozen Awesome Authors (left sidebar), each of whom shares a sexy short story or book chapter. Selections in this edition range from paranormal lust to rough power exchange, with everything in between. Meanwhile, original erotica from the ERWA Storytime community is featured in the right sidebar, including ERWAโ€™s trademark flash fiction. Donโ€™t miss these elegant and arousing nuggets.

More than just dirty stories:

https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery/

If youโ€™re like me, the Gallery (wonderful as it is) just wonโ€™t be enough erotica to keep you happy. Satisfy your hunger for arousing reading in our Books for Sensual Readers section. Itโ€™s dangerous for me to do the necessary research for the Erotic Lure; I always end up adding more titles to my want-to-read list.

This month I honed in on the steam punk collection Valves & Vixens, edited by Nicole Gestalt, as well as Giselle Renardeโ€™s Best Fetish Erotica. Nobody does kink like Giselle! Looking at the novels section, I immediately honed in on Fionna Guillaumeโ€™s Tokyo: A Job with a View, about a young woman who takes a position that requires extensive travelโ€”plus much more unorthodox activities. (Check out Fionaโ€™s magnificent story in the Gallery for a sample of her style.) A Little Too Farby Lisa Desrochers also grabbed my interest, with its theme of a woman torn between two taboo attractions. We have a huge selection of gay and lesbian titles for you to sample, including gay fantasy The Woodwoseby Nicolette deSada, habuโ€™s gloriously literate gay collection Creampuffs, Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year Volume 1, edited by the legendary Sacchi Green, and Selena Kittโ€™s collection of naughty lesbian shorts, Girls Only.

When I tell you this is only the tip of the iceberg, believe me, itโ€™s true! We have scores of titles in every sub-genre for your browsing pleasure, with quick links so you can grab copies of anything that takes your fancy.

Indulge your literary libido:

https://erotica-readers.com/books/

What about movies? Weโ€™ve got you covered there, too. (Or maybe I should say, uncovered?) In this edition, we feature a top ten list of films starring the delectable Latina, Sara Luvv. I was particularly intrigued by โ€œThe Faces of Aliceโ€, about a closeted young lesbian who makes a deal with the devil to win back her out-and-proud lover. (Sara does het porn, too…) Scanning some of the other sections, I noticed โ€œThe Doll Undergroundโ€, a wild tale about four angry women who become sexual revolutionaries to fight the evils of big business. I also love browsing through the Classic Porn section (since Iโ€™m a classic myself). Digital technology allows older films to be restored and remastered so they can be enjoyed by new generations. Henry Parisโ€™ 1970 masterpiece โ€œMaraschino Cherryโ€, which set the standard for intelligent porn, is a case in point.

Porn for couples, porn for women, porn with a plot, porn parodies, totally unmitigated smut… whatever youโ€™re looking for, youโ€™ll find it (conveniently categorized) at ERWA. Plus weโ€™ve got links to the very best places to acquire the films you crave, including Gamelink, Adult DVD Empire, and SmutNetwork.

Get visual:

https://erotica-readers.com/adult-movies/

All you need to fully enjoy your new adult film is some popcornโ€”and a sex toy or two. Our Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column keeps you in the know about the latest innovations in self-stimulation. Many of these items are high tech gadgets that wouldnโ€™t be out of place in your typical computer store. (Geeks love โ€˜em!) For instance, the โ€œHot Octopuss Vibrating Duo Stroker for Couplesโ€ offers a 9 speed oscillator, 5 vibration modes with adjustable frequency, a remote control unit and a USB charger. Fortunately one can still find good old-fashioned manual erotic implements like the Bรผch Dich (โ€œBend Overโ€) Paddle Dildo. An ingenious combination of a multi-textured silicon paddle with a versatile phallic handle, this toy does not require batteries, controls, or anything else other than toned biceps and a good imagination!

Of course we have the links you need to get your hot little hands on any of these items. Let me remind you that everything you buy via our affiliate links helps support the best free adult site on the web. (That would be ERWA, of course.)

Last, but certainly not least, we come to the Authors Resources section. If you are an erotic writer, you canโ€™t afford not to take advantage of this rich compendium of knowledge and news. Our Calls for Submission listings are the most complete and up-to-date on the web. The current edition features new calls for femdom erotica, fetish erotica, and erotica on the theme of gluttony. We have guidelines for four new e-publishers seeking erotic romance and literary erotica. Erotic Lure Newsletter: October 2016

Dear Debauched Denizens of the Darkness,

By the twitching of my thumbs,

Something wicked this way comes.

Well, to be honest, itโ€™s actually other parts of my body that are twitching as I swoop through the (literally) fantastic October edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association website. As All Hallowโ€™s Eve approaches, ERWA celebrates the salaciously supernatural and the horrifically horny. Clicking from page to page, Iโ€™m overwhelmed by paroxysms of prurient passion….

Too much? Okay, Iโ€™ll rein in the alliteration and give you a quick tour, starting in the Erotica Gallery, where youโ€™ll find a slew of stories focusing on magical lust and erotic horror. Blood-thirsty flora, a vengeful murderess, a smart ass exorcist and a clit with a mind of its ownโ€”our traditional La Petite Mort theme has inspired the ERWA authors to new heights of creativity. Across the page, our Awesome Authors section includes everything from historical fiction to paranormal romance, all breathlessly erotic.

Indulge your dark desires:

https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery/

If youโ€™re still craving more hot fiction after your sojourn in the Gallery, click over to our Books for Sensual Readers pages. Weโ€™ve assembled a rich and varied collection of featured titles for this issue, so youโ€™re sure to find something that appeals. Delores Swallows explores the irresistible attraction of opposites in his short story collection Unlikely, while Giselle Renarde, Kendra Edge and the irredeemably filthy Lexi Wood team up to expose The Secret Life of Sitters. Cheri Versetโ€™s collection So Wrong 12 offers nearly 80,000 words of taboo erotica, and Sharon Lynn Fisher shares her outrageously original erotic fairy tales in Before She Wakes.

If youโ€™re looking for longer stories, check out Avery Kayeโ€™s Royally Wicked, the escapades of a prince in Las Vegas, or Taisha Demayโ€™s tale of a searing office affair, Love, Truth and Consequences: Playing Dirty. Iโ€™ve put Candace Blevinโ€™s paranormal erotic romance Be Careful What You Ask For on my TBR list, intrigued by her premise of a half-werewolf/half-human who wants to be wholly wolf. Checking Him Out,Devyn Morganโ€™s gay erotic romance that pairs a shy librarian and a macho construction worker, sounds delightful. For FF fiction, I recommend Giselle Renardeโ€™s Taboo Lesbian Erotica: 10 Scandalous Stories. I havenโ€™t read itโ€”yetโ€”but I have no doubt itโ€™s as sexy and intelligent as Giselleโ€™s other work.

We have dozens more titles for your browsing pleasure, including vintage and modern classics, sensual romance and sexy sex education. Enjoy zero frustration: any book that casts a spell can be yours in a couple of clicks. Just use our affiliate links and give us a treat: your purchases help support the best free adult site on the web.

Revel in dirty words:

https://erotica-readers.com/book-category/featured-titles/

Did someone say porn? If not, why not? When youโ€™re tired of reading and just want to watch, head for our Adult Movies section. Top billing goes to โ€œBabysitting the Baumgartnersโ€, a steamy blockbuster based on the novel by ERWAโ€™s very own fearless leader Selena Kitt. Real life couple Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue star as the sexually adventurous Doc and Mrs. Baumgartner, who seduce their long-time baby sitter, played by Sarah Luv. Enjoy more of Mickโ€™s and Anikkaโ€™s special erotic spark in โ€œMick Loves Anikkaโ€, as Mick indulges his loverโ€™s every forbidden fantasy, from girl-on-girl rimming to double penetration. Another couples top pick is โ€œTales from the Edge: Hotwife Boundโ€, a mix of exhibitionism, cuckolding and BDSM.

If none these suggestions ring your bell, explore our extensive list of other titles, conveniently categorized and equipped with buy links for instant gratification.

Experience the magic of movies:

https://erotica-readers.com/adult-movies/5-favorite-couples-movies/

Adult movies are a great way to relax while getting off. If youโ€™re more the action-oriented type, though, donโ€™t miss the Sex Toy Playground. This monthโ€™s Sex Toy Scuttlebutt focuses on toys for couples. Personally, Iโ€™m dying to try the Fetish Fantasy Spinning Swing. Then thereโ€™s the Tongue Star Pleasure Vibe, which is just what it sounds likeโ€”a mini-vibrator to enhance oral sex. Talk about creativity!

Wondering how to use Ben Wa balls? Confused about lubricants? Curious about prostate stimulation? The Playground includes links to frank and fun articles about these and many more sex-toy-related topics, penned by the experts from Adam & Eve, Good Vibrations and our other reputable suppliers.

You can never have too many toys:

https://erotica-readers.com/sex-toy-playground/sex-toy-scuttlebutt/

Inside the Erotic Mind this month, youโ€™ll find a sometimes arousing and always provocative discussion of body piercing. Expect strong opinions on both sides. Add your own thoughts by clicking Participate!

Dare to share:

https://erotica-readers.com/inside-the-erotic-mind/body-piercing/

Finally, if you write explicit fiction or non-fiction (or if youโ€™ve ever been tempted to try!), do visit the Author Resources pages, the most extensive list of erotic publishing opportunities anywhere on the web. Three new publishers have just been added to the compendium: Inkubus for gay erotica, MoFo Pubs seeking literary erotica, and Deep Desires Press for erotica and erotic romance. There are also dozens of calls for anthologies including a new vampire anthology entitled โ€œRavenousโ€, fiction focusing on wanderlustโ€”with the emphasis on lustโ€”and Rob Rosenโ€™s call for Best Gay Erotica Volume 3.

The page features opportunities for novelists, short story writers, poets and essayists, in every erotic sub-genre. Meanwhile, click on the ERWA Archive link for access to ten years worth of amazing articles by top authors on topics related to the craft and business of writing. Whether youโ€™re an experienced author or just getting started, the archives are an incredible resource.

These days, we publish our craft articles at the ERWA blog โ€“ http://erotica-readers.blogspot.com. Our contributors talk about everything from writing sex scenes to doing promotion.

Follow your Muse:

https://erotica-readers.com/erotica-authors-resources/

I did it! A complete Erotic Lure almost entirely avoiding alliteration. Do I get a treat? Those fur-lined hand-cuffs look appealing…. Sure, Iโ€™ll wear the naughty nurse costume if you want, as long as youโ€™ll let me use the swing…

Wishing you a month of chills and thrills,

Lisabet

Erotic Lure Newsletter: Summer 2016

Dear Doyennes of Decadent Delights,

Welcome to the July edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association website. Summer has officially arrived, and here at ERWA, weโ€™re turning up the heat. Time to strip down, boot up, and follow me for a lazy ramble through some of the juiciest spots on the web. (Try not to be distracted by my naked booty. After all, itโ€™s hot out…!)

In the Erotica Gallery, weโ€™ve got five Awesome Authors to keep your mind (and maybe your hands) busy. Theyโ€™ll take you from steamy Africa to windy Scandinavia, a prison cell to the family living room, with every stop a lusty new adventure. Our Storytime contributors offer up more sexy fiction (plus some clever poetry), with tales of the sweet hereafter, the bitter fruits of pride, and the tangled webs desire weaves.

Savor words that sizzle:

https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery

Hopefully youโ€™ll get some time off this summer. If you need beach reading, weโ€™ve got you covered. (Or should that be uncovered?) Our new, expanded Books for Sensual Readers section offers hundreds of choices for the erotica aficionado. Like short stories? Check out Strokes by Delilah Devlin, Alison Tylerโ€™s The Big Book of Kink, or one of the featured Excite Spice themed boxed sets. (Donโ€™t worry, they onlylook heavy!) If you prefer something longer, scroll through our huge list of erotic novels. My pick for this month is Taint, by S.L. Jenning, a taboo-busting tale of a sex tutor who โ€œturns housewives into whoresโ€.

For those of you who crave a happily ever after, weโ€™ve got dozens of erotic romance titles, including Fionna Guillaumeโ€™s Not So Square, with its deceptively ordinary accountant hero, and Giselle Renardeโ€™s shocking and arousing Two Complete Strangers. Youโ€™ll find plenty of LGBTQ erotica and romance, too. I marked R.A. Thornโ€™s Untethered for my TBR list, a historical romance about a gay Air Force pilot during WWII. On the FF side, Iโ€™ve been wanting to read Ily Goyanesโ€™ widely acclaimed anthology Appetites: Tales of Lesbian Lust since I first heard about it. I can also recommendโ€”personally!โ€”my lesbian fantasy The Witches of Gloucester, which is reviewed in this edition by Bob Buckley.

One of the great things about the e-publishing revolution is the new availability of many previously out-of-print erotic gems. In our Classics pages youโ€™ll find everything from Leopold von Sacher-Masochโ€™s Venus in Furs to Portia da Costaโ€™s The Devil Inside.

This is only a small sampling of the books we list. And every single one can be yours with a few clicks of your mouse. If you do decide to satisfy your craving for any of these titles, please use our affiliate links. Everything you buy via those links helps keep ERWA gloriously free!

Feed your erotic imagination:

When youโ€™re in the mood for something visual, head over to our Adult Movies section. Erotic Lure Newsletter: April 2016

Dear Lubricious Lechers,

I’ll bet you thought I’d forgotten you. The latest edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association website has been live since the start of April, but not a peep from Lisabet?

A million pardons. I was occupied with my annual slave refresher course and retreat, two weeks of kinky re-education required by my Master each year. That means two weeks away from computers and the Internet. (Try it some time!) Anyway, I’m back now, honed and horny, eager to give you what you’ve been waiting for.

A tour of the current site, I mean. We can talk about the other stuff later.

Let’s begin in the Gallery, where we have stories and chapters from a stellar half-dozen authors who truly merit the label “awesome”. BDSM, science fiction, lesbian lust, magickal connections, taboo sex–sample their tales and you’ll find a bit of everything. Meanwhile, the plentiful selections from our ERWA Storytime list play with forbidden desires, sly humor and erotic horror.

Indulge in literary lust:

Summer’s coming–time to stock up on reading material for those long, hot days ahead. Our Books for Sensual Readers section has something for every taste. Check out the SPRING FEVER erotic super bundle, thirteen exciting, passionate tales of the season. Over 100,000 words–that will fill up a lot of days at the beach! Looking for a steamy novel? Consider the outrageously filthy HUNG: A FORBIDDEN ROMANCE by Aya Fukinishi. Go and get your favorite toy; it’s time. Or try MIDNIGHT MIRROR by Delores Swallows, a tale of extremes and obsession in a digital world where it’s all to easy to make fantasies real. I recommend THE GAZILLIONAIRE & THE VIRGIN, my genre-busting BDSM erotic romance that will turn all your expectations on their heads, and I’m definitely drawn to Delilah Devlin’s clever and unconventional vampire tale FRANNIE AND THE PRIVATE DICK. Lovers of gay erotic fiction should snap up a copy of L.M. Someron’s STROKE RATE, a M/M romance set against the background of competitive rowing. In the lesbian section, BOMBSHELLS AND BITCHES, edited Kathleen Warnock and Lea Delaria, caught my eye, as well as Sacchi Green’s BEST LESBIAN EROTICA 2016 volume. I know from experience that I’ll like anything Sacchi edits.

You might also want to take a virtual stroll through the Vintage and Classic Erotica section, where you’ll find (among many other titles) THE EMBROIDERED COUCH, a new translation of a 17th century Chinese novel banned in China. We’ve got lots of sexy non-fiction, too. I’ve put Dr. Sharon Moalam’s HOW SEX WORKS on my TBR list. Yeah, I do have a lot of first hand experience, but I figure I should bone up (so to speak) on the theory!

All these volumes and many more can be yours with a few clicks. Remember that every purchase you make via our affiliate links helps to support the ERWA tradition–twenty years of original, high-quality, free smut!

Mix the joy of reading with the joy of sex:

Are you more visually oriented? Meet me in the newly reorganized Adult Movies section. We’ve got the down-and-dirty on porn for women, porn for couples, porn with a plot, whatever floats your boat. I zeroed in on “The Doll Underground”, directed by Eon McKai, a wild tale of female revolutionaries. Then there’s “Compulsion”, erotic comedy featuring Randy Spears and Carmen Hart as a couple who meet at a support group for survivors of mountain lion attacks (really!). Brad Armstrong is one of my favorite directors; I’ve bookmarked his classic “Eternity”, a lavish production with fantastic costumes as well as delicious bodies. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Whatever your porn preferences, we’ve got you covered. (Or should that be uncovered?) We’ve teamed up with the very best purveyors of adult video to provide you with near-instant gratification, too. Just use our affiliate links to buy whatever films tickle your fancy.

For the voyeur in us all:

What goes better with a smutty film than a sexy toy? As usual, Sex Toy Scuttlebutt showcases the latest and greatest erotic implements, including the Wireless Vibrating Thong for men, and the We Vibe 4 Plus couples vibrator. The latter includes a mobile app (yes, you read that correctly) that allows remote control of the vibe from anywhere on earth. What a brave new world we live in!

You could live without toys. But why should you?

Erotic Lure: Winter 2016 Edition

From Erotica Readers & Writers Association
By Lisabet Sarai

Dear Lascivious Literati,

Welcome to the Winter edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association website. Forgive me for the tardiness of this newsletter. (Yes, I’ll take a spanking as punishment if you feel that’s appropriate…) As you may have heard, ERWA recently experienced a changing of the guard, and we’ve been a bit busy working out the kinks. (Not that we really want to *get rid* of the kinks…just get them under our control!)

In any case, the Winter edition is now available for your browsing pleasure. As usual, I’ll give you a quick peek at all the goodies we’ve got for you.

The Erotica Gallery features a new cohort of Awesome Authors, each of whom has a sizzling story or book chapter for your delectation. This edition includes luscious lesbian lust, voluptuous voyeurism, breathtaking BDSM, randy role-playing and a merry menage.

(Okay, no more alliteration in this issue.)

We’ve also got a variety of fantastic fiction by the members of the ERWA Storytime, in moods that range from playful to plaintive.

(Sorry. Should I bend over now?)

Get serious about erotica:

https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery

If our Gallery doesn’t fully satisfy your hunger for erotic tales, browse through our Books for Sensual Readers pages. We have dozens of suggestions for your next read. Anthology fans should definitely check out the lovingly curated collection by Rose Caraway, THE SEXY LIBRARIAN’S BIG BOOK OF EROTICA. For those who prefer longer work, I recommend Charlotte Stein’s outrageous novel THE PROFESSOR. We’re also featuring A.N. Roquelaure’s new addition to the Beauty saga, BEAUTY’S KINGDOM. That’s definitely on *my* TBR list. In erotic romance, my pick for this edition is Beth D. Carter’s ALONG CAME MERRIE, full of motorcycles and a sexy menage. We have lots of great LGBTQ books, too. Katie Gilmanton’s BLACKMAIL, MY LOVE is a murder mystery deeply steeped in San Francisco gay history, while editor Ily Goyanes serves up a heaping portion of F/F erotica in APPETITES. For those of you who are into self-improvement, we offer lots of self-help and sex-ed books, too–for example, Violet Blue’s treatise KISSING: A FIELD GUIDE.

You could spend hours ogling our covers and reading our blurbs. Don’t forget to use our affiliate links to buy anything that catches your fancy. Your purchases via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo or iBooks help support the best free adult site on the web (ERWA, that is).

Read, and dream:

https://erotica-readers.com/books/

Maybe you’re more of the visual type. We’ve definitely got what you want, in our Adult Movies listings. Gamelink.com has compiled a list of their ten best-selling titles from 2015, including the emotionally intense drama “The Submission of Emma Marx: Boundless” and the over-the-top “My Evil Step-Mother Fucked My Ass – Volume 2”. What can I say? Something for everyone! You’ll also find Best of 2015 lists for couples porn and big budget flicks, as well as our ever-growing categorized pages of everything from classics to parodies.

Seeing is believing:

https://erotica-readers.com/adult-movies/

Are you into action as opposed to observation? Visit the Sex Toy Playground. You’ll find a quick history of sex toys (brought to you by Adam & Eve, who were an important part of that history) plus a round-up on the latest and greatest amorous implements in the Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column. I can’t believe how many new toys are designed to work with mobile phones! I personally prefer more traditional offerings, like the Crystal Jelly butt plug. If you act fast, you could win a Womanizer clitoral stimulator from Eden Fantasies!

The Playground also has links to a wide range of informative and fun articles about toys and techniques, and to the very best purveyors of sexual devices.

Do what comes naturally:

https://erotica-readers.com/sex-toy-playground/

Inside the Erotic Mind this month, the topic is obesity and sexuality. Can fat be a turn-on? Read the comments by our fearless contributors, then if you like, add your own. Just click on the Participate link.

There are no taboos:

https://erotica-readers.com/inside-the-erotic-mind/

Erotic authors, I have not forgotten you! The Authors Resources page is brimming with new material. Selena Kitt, who has just taken the helm at ERWA, founded the phenomenally successful Excessica erotica co-operative. She knows what’s going on in the erotica publishing world. The current edition includes at least a dozen new calls for submissions, from Excessica, Cleis, JMS Books, Sexy Little Pages and more. Check out Hot Chili Erotica, a new website that pays for erotic stories. Whatever genre, length or style of erotica you pen, you’ll find a home for it in our listings. We update them whenever we get new information, by the way, as well as posting new calls to the ERWA blog (http://erotica-readers.blogspot.com). So come back often!

Sell your sexy stuff:

https://erotica-readers.com/erotica-authors-resources/

I’ve by no means exhausted the content on the ERWA site, but I realize I may have exhausted your patience, so I’ll stop here. I’ve got to go anyway–the batteries in my clit vibe have died.

I’ll be back in April with another naughty newsletter. Until then, stay sexy!

Lubriciously,

Lisabet

Erotic Lure Newsletter: Fall 2015 Edition

From Erotica Readers & Writers Association
By Lisabet Sarai
_______

Dear Denizens of the Dark Side,

Welcome to the Fall edition of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association! October’s here, Halloween’s around the corner, and we’ve got plenty of treats waiting for you (plus a trick or two).

The Erotica Gallery in this edition is so amazing, it’s practically supernatural. To start with, we have five Awesome Authors serving up their sexy stories for your personal pleasure. From the dangerous delights of an anonymous bar pickup to a holiday tryst with a horny MILF, these authors will prepare you for the traditional devilish debauchery associated with All Hallow’s Eve. Then sample some of the offerings from our ERWA contributors –stories, quickies, flashers and poems, all fantastic and totally free. Whether you like it sweet or nasty, we’ll satisfy your appetite for erotic fare. Don’t miss our traditional October feature La Petite Mort. Our authors adore sending chills up your spine while warming your other parts.

Words make magic:
https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery

The Books for Sensual Readers section is a cornucopia overflowing with the fruits of fantasy. Rachel Kramer Bussel has two new anthologies out, I WANT YOU BAD (obsessive erotic romance) and DIRTY DATES (kinky couples fiction). Some of my very favorite authors have new releases, including Charlotte Stein’s luscious sounding THE PROFESSOR, a tale of a stern professor and his very naughty student; Portia Da Costa’s Black Lace classic HOTBED, featuring a pair of sisters, one wild, one shy and virtuous–until now; Ashley Lister’s novel of passion, betrayal and gourmet food, JUST DESSERTS; and Victoria Blisse’s sizzling vampire romance THE POINT OF EVIL. Looking for a hot gay read? Check out Eli Easton’s THE TROUBLE WITH TONY, about a PI who goes undercover–way undercover–masquerading as a patient in a sex clinic. My pick for lesbian fiction is Valerie Brundage’s DEAD MAN’S CURVES, a novel about love between women friends that defies labels.

This is, as usual, just a small sampling of the fabulous books we’ve assembled for your delectation. Check out our categorized listings of anthologies, novels, erotic romance, vintage and modern classics, gay and lesbian fiction, and sexy sex ed. You’re bound to find something that tickles your tingle. And once you do, please use our affiliate links to Amazon, B&N or iTunes to buy. Every click helps support the delightfully dirty-minded demons who labor to bring you a new ERWA edition every quarter.

Join us under the covers:
https://erotica-readers.com/books/

Let’s see, what’s next? How about a quick tour of the Sex Toy Playground? You may not know much about history, but the folks at Adam & Eve do. They’ve got a fun, enlightening article about the history of sex toys. The regular Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column, in contrast, highlights the ultimate in modern erotic apparatus. Consider, for instance, the Kgoal Smart Kegel Exerciser. Yes, it hooks up to your smart phone, and offers you an instant reward for working on your pelvic muscle tone… You have to read about it to believe it.

If you want one (or more), we’ve got links to all the best adult toy stores: Adam & Eve, Good Vibrations, and Gamelink Adult Products.

Just the thing for the trick or treat bag…
https://erotica-readers.com/sex-toy-playground/

Adult Movies are our natural next stop. Porn and toys go together like apple pie and ice cream. This month’s features include Brad Armstrong’s stunning opus “Aftermath”, a powerful tale of sexual awakening and forbidden love. My “dirty smutty porn” pick is “Innocence Bound”. Watch–no, drool–as four sweet, uncorrupted young women are bound, used and initiated into the mysteries of lust. My classic recommendation is the last film by Henry Paris (aka Radley Metzger), the 1970’s masterpiece “Maraschino Cherry”. And just in time to answer all those questions raised by The Book That Shall Not Be Named, we bring you “A Lover’s Guide to Erotic Submission”, a two-disc set–one disk with instructional material, one that’s simply
sex.

Amorous apparitions await you:
https://erotica-readers.com/adult-movies/

Inside the Erotic Mind this month, we’re recalling our favorite steamy scenes from mainstream movies. Feel free to share the films that push YOUR personal buttons. Just click on “Participate” and fill in the form.

Arousal begins in the mind:
https://erotica-readers.com/inside-the-erotic-mind/

Authors, I haven’t forgotten you. The list of publishing opportunities in our Authors Resources section gets longer every week. Yes, we do update this section frequently, whenever we get new information. We also post all new calls on the ERWA blog, http://erotica-readers.blogspot.com.

Recent calls for submission include an anthology of geeky kink tales; Coming Together: On Wheels, a motorcycle- and racecar-themed charity anthology; and a call for lesbian power exchange fiction from Harper Bliss. If these three possibilities don’t inspire you, spend a few minutes browsing the other listings. We have literally dozens of publishers on the page, and guess what? They want YOUR work!

Even if you’re a top–submit!
https://erotica-readers.com/erotica-authors-resources/

And speaking of the authoring process, you may be interested in the sponsor for this edition of the Lure, Bookalope. Bookalope  is a new website that provides simple and interactive book conversions for electronic and print publication. Its tools grew from years of experience working with authors on their books, and now Bookalope offers these tools to everybody.

The process is easy, intuitive and saves time, while it hides most of the technical stuff. After uploading a file, Bookalope analyzes the visual styling of the text and, with some help from the user, extracts the structured book. Next, it checks the content for spelling and errors in punctuation and typography, and the user may choose to have them corrected. After that, the book is ready for conversion for Kindle, Nook, or iPad, into print-ready PDF, or InDesign or Word for continued editing and design.
Details at: https://bookalope.net

That wraps up this edition of the Erotic Lure. I certainly haven’t covered all the goodies on the site, but I’d rather let you explore on your own. Who knows what (or whom) you’ll find in some shadowy corner?

As for me, it’s less than a month before Halloween, and I still haven’t settled on a costume. I’m torn between Morticia Adams and Elvira Queen of the Dark. Black becomes me, and I do love the way a deeply plunging neckline shows off my — umm — assets…

Lustfully yours,
Lisabet

Erotic Lure Newsletter: Summer 2015 Edition

From Erotica Readers & Writers Association
By Lisabet Sarai
_______

Dear Summer Sybarites,

What is it about summer and sex? They seem to go together like red wine and sharp cheddar, strawberries and whipped cream, whips and chains… Maybe it’s because of the minimalist clothing. Nothing sets my pulse racing like a tanned, naked shoulder or a bared midriff. Perhaps it’s the vacation vibe, the prospect of a holiday from the demands of the working world. A lazy afternoon in the hammock – a frolic in the surf – a balmy night on a grassy hill, under the blazing stars. Preferably with company, of course!

Whatever the reason, ERWA is here to make the season sexier than ever. Our Summer Edition is blooming with sensual delights, from incendiary fiction to uncensored films, carefully selected to enhance your personal pleasure.

In the Erotica Gallery we have a new crop of Awesome Authors, each of whom has contributed an erotic story or chapter to tantalize and arouse you. Whatever your preference for pairings, M/f, m/F, F/F or M/M, there’s something to satisfy your desires. Authors from our Storytime list add to the mix, with tales in every mood: humorous, desperate, nostalgic, fantastic. You’ll also find a brace of delicious poems to set you dreaming.

Send your imagination on vacation:
https://erotica-readers.com/story-gallery

If you’re worried about getting sand in your mobile device (I would be), we’ve got lots of  Books for Sensual Readers to spice up your time at the beach. The amazing Alison Tyler has two new erotic anthologies out, JUST FOR HER and JUST FOR HIM. Torquere Press has released MYTHOLOGICALLY TORQUED VOlUME 1, a massive collection of erotic tales with mythological themes which features not just the classical Olympians but also gods from Norse, Japanese and other mythological traditions. If you’re brave enough to venture closer to the edge, check out outrageous GONZO COLLECTION by Daddy X.

A.N. Roquelaure (Anne Rice) has released another book in her classic “Beauty” BDSM series, BEAUTY’S KINGDOM. THE INHERITOR by Laura Antoniou is a new tale set in her Marketplace universe. PLAYING DIRTY by C.L. Parker offers a steamy erotic romance full of nasty business tricks. Fans of gay fiction won’t want to miss James Lear’s latest Dan Stagg novel, STRAIGHT UP, set in the ultra-masculine world of Marines and Special Ops forces. And I’m adding at least one new title to my multi-page TBR list: ME AND MY BOI, edited by Sacchi Green. I’ve never been disappointed by one of Sacchi’s books.

Summer’s a time to be self-indulgent. If you feel the urge to purchase any of these volumes, or the dozens of others featured in our Books for Sensual Readers pages, please remember to use the affiliate links on our site. It doesn’t cost you anything, but it helps keep the Erotica Readers & Writers Association alive and writhing.

Beach reading was never hotter:
https://erotica-readers.com/books/

What about those of us who are creating all those books? The erotica market is growing, and so is our list of submission calls and publisher’s guides in Authors Resources. New this week in are two anthology calls from House of Erotica, a call for speculative erotic stories to be podcast (for pay) and two new imprints, Sinful Press and Pride Publishing. The latter is a just-opened outlet for all types of GLBTQI fiction, part of the Totally Entwined publishing group.

Check the authors page frequently. We update it whenever we receive information about new publishing opportunities. And while you’re there, why not browse the archives of craft articles from old editions of ERWA? You’ll find great advice and thought provoking commentary from veteran authors. The archives also include book reviews, sex toy reviews, and opinion pieces from the legendary Smutter’s Lounge. You could spend many productive and enjoyable hours in the archives.

Grow your writing career this summer:
https://erotica-readers.com/erotica-authors-resources/

But maybe “productive” is not what you want to be this season. In that case, you might want to explore the Sex Toy Playground. This edition shines the spotlight on our partner Adam & Eve, one of the oldest and most respected adult emporia in the business. Did you know that A&E donates 20% of the profits to charity? Why not do a good deed by purchasing some of the delightful gadgets showcased in the Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column?

And while you’re wandering around in the Playground, sample some of our past “how-to” articles. Anal sex? Spanking? Ben Wa balls? If you’ve got a question, our experts may very well have the answer.

Play with yourself – or others:
https://erotica-readers.com/sex-toy-playground/

When you’re bored with the toys (if that ever happens…), make our Adult Movies section your next stop. This month’s featured flicks include “Screwing Wall Street”, starring real life stock-broker-turned-porn-star Veronica Vain. Stormy Daniels directs “When It Comes To You”, a couples-oriented tale about a woman torn between two men. Sound like too much plot? Check out “Massive Curves” or “Threesome Fantasies Fulfilled Volume 5”. (I suspect volumes 1 through 4 are also available…) And I’m drooling over the digitally remastered classic “Maraschino Cherry”, directed by erotic master Henry Paris (otherwise known as Radley Metzger). As I may have mentioned in the past, I think Metzger’s brilliant. Too bad my birthday is six months away!

You don’t have to wait, though. Adult DVD Empire, SmutNetwork, Adam & Eve, Lesbian VOD, Gay DVD Empire – we’ve got links to all the best porn sources, and every purchase you make helps support the best sex-oriented site on the Web. (That would be ERWA, of course!)

Indulge in some visual stimulation:
https://erotica-readers.com/adult-movies/

Inside the Erotic Mind, the topic is private masturbation when you’re in a relationship. Is it okay to pleasure yourself, even when you’re having plenty of great sex with your partner? I found this discussion fascinating. To share your own thoughts and experiences, just click on the Participate link.

Meet kindred spirits inside the erotic mind:
https://erotica-readers.com/inside-the-erotic-mind/

This edition of the Erotic Lure is sponsored by Adam & Eve. The largest provider of adult products in the United States, A&E believes that your sex life should be as limitless as your desires. Every product they offer is backed by decades of experience, superior customer service, risk free shopping, and a passion for helping their customers explore sex in a positive way.

Before I sign off, I’d like to ask a favor. I’m running a reader survey, from now until July 25th. Could you take a few minutes to complete it? Every person who finishes the questionnaire will receive a coupon for a free erotic romance book. In addition, I’m giving away a $50 bookstore gift certificate to one lucky respondent.

The survey is here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JGNFVY8

Alas, all good things must come to an end, including this newsletter. I hope your summer is an endless adventure filled with pleasure.

Heatedly yours,
Lisabet

Erotic Lure Newsletter: Spring 2015 Edition

From Erotica Readers & Writers Association
By Lisabet Sarai
_______

Dear Paragons of the Prurient and Perverse,

Welcome to the Spring issue of Erotic Lure, the newsletter of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association. As the days lengthen, the trees blossom, the sap runs and the natural world explodes into lusty life…we’re doing the same. The new edition of the ERWA website is guaranteed to get your juices flowing, with the sassiest, sexiest and most sophisticated adult content out there in cyberspace.

Our Erotica Gallery will have you slick and swollen in no time. Enjoy our amazingly diverse fiction selected from the Storytime list: a hooker who offers “the girlfriend experience without the girlfriend”; the sexual experience of a man in coma; a fantasy that explains why Henry Thoreau built his cabin next to Walden Pond; a searing tale of corruption and sexual favors guaranteed to make you squirm. And that’s just the start. This edition of ERWA introduces our new Awesome Authors feature. Read short stories or full chapters by some of today’s top erotica authors — all for free! The line-up this edition includes erotic heavyweights like Alison Tyler, Janine Ashbless and…well, go see for yourself!

Let our authors turn you on:
erotica-readers.local/story-gallery

Find more arousing tales in our Books for Sensual Readers section. Just the cover of Violet Blue’s new anthology PICTURE ME NAKED will set your pulse racing. We’ve got the very best for you in every sub-genre: BEST EROTIC ROMANCE 2015 (edited by Kristina Wright), BEST BONDAGE EROTICA 2015 (Rachel Kramer Bussel), BEST SEX WRITING (Jon Pressick), BOMBSHELLS AND BUTCHES: BEST LESBIAN EROTICA (Kathleen Warnock) — and that’s just the books with “best” in their titles. If you’re on the prowl for a novel, check out S.L. Jennings’ provocative TAINT, about a sexual sophisticate who “turns housewives into whores”, or my steamy new paranormal erotic romance THE EYES OF BAST. You’ll find great GLBTQ titles, too, including Neil Plakcy’s anthology of gay romance TAKE THIS MAN and Berengaria Brown’s LESBIAN LOVERS. Meanwhile, if you’re seeking something more explicitly educational, browse our sexy sex ed section. We have the ultimate guides to everything from sex after fifty to prostate pleasure. After all, no matter how good you are in bed, you can always learn new tricks!

As you browse (and fantasize), remember that it’s your purchases via our affiliate links that keep ERWA alive and kicking. If you just can’t control your impulses (and why should you?), please use our links to satisfy them!

Find pleasure between the covers:
erotica-readers.local/books

Speaking of covers, if you’d like to see YOUR name on one, spend some time exploring our Authors Resources pages. ERWA has the web’s most extensive listing of market opportunities for erotic authors. The Author pages are also your gateway to our extensive archives of craft-related articles (www.erotica-readers.local/insider-tips/) and a useful directory to services and resources for authors (www.erotica-readers.local/links/writers-resources/).

This month’s listings include new publisher Love Slave, the “Rough Edges” anthology of American western tales, and two lesbian calls, from legendary editors Cheyenne Blue and Sacchi Green. The listings are updated whenever we receive something new; incoming calls are also added to the ERWA blog, erotica-readers.blogspot.com, where you’ll find more great posts on writing.

You can’t claim there’s no market for erotica!
erotica-readers.local/erotica-authors-resources

No edition of Erotic Lure would be complete without a quick trip to our Adult Movies section. Featured this month is “Marriage 2.0”, a creative, sensitive and sexy look at a couple in an open relationship. Balancing love and novelty, adventure and commitment, is a tricky task. You’ll enjoy watching this couple rise to the challenge.

Also of note is Brad Armstrong’s latest, “Holly…Would”, starring the stunning Asa Akira as a high end madame. Looks luscious! And for those of you who find plot just gets in the way, I recommend “Student Nurses”. Their uniforms say it all!

Get visual:
erotica-readers.local/adult-movies

What the natural accompaniment for adult movies? No, not popcorn! I’m talking about sex toys. As usual, the Sex Toy Playground keeps you well-informed on the latest erotic implements, neatly summarized in our Sex Toy Scuttlebutt column. This month we also have an article entitled “The Good Vibrations Story”. Did you know they’ve been bringing you pleasure since 1977? Back then, I barely knew what a sex toy was. (Live and learn, I always say!)

Come play!
erotica-readers.local/sex-toy-playground

Finally, don’t miss this month’s Inside the Erotic Mind section. The topic is cybersex, and the personal tales are just amazing. Dangerous or delightful? Entertainment or addiction? What’s your experience? Share your thoughts by clicking on Participate.

Dare to venture inside the erotic mind:
erotica-readers.local/inside-the-erotic-mind

This edition of Erotic Lure is sponsored by Torquere Press. Torquere, the first GLBT Romance epublisher, began in 2003 as a general partnership, and has grown over the last decade into a much larger organization.

While many publishers in 2003 were publishing ebooks, very few were publishing gay and lesbian romance. The mission of Torquere Press was, and is, to provide readers with great stories, and to promote gay and
lesbian romance, and all the sub-genres of romance, as a genre to be reckoned with.

That’s all for this edition. I’ve got to get back to my latest work in progress. My characters aren’t being very cooperative. I keep trying to move the plot forward, but all they want to do is have sex. (I’m not kidding…)

Wishing you a squishy Spring!

Lubriciously yours,
Lisabet
