Kiss It Better by Portia Da Costa

Portia Da Costa is a legendary author in the world of erotic fiction. With more than twenty-two erotic novels to her credit, as well as an expanding list of romantic fiction titles, her name is synonymous with good writing and well-told stories of torrid passion.

Kiss It Betteris the latest work from this talented author and will not disappoint die-hard fans or newcomers to the opus of this mistress of erotica.

The story follows the stormy relationship of Jay Bentley and Sandy Jackson. Jay is a troubled man who briefly “met” Sandy many years earlier. The meeting left an indelible impression on him and, although Jay is slow to admit it, he has been hoping to reunite with Sandy ever since.

Sandy, similarly, was touched by that first meeting and has also been hoping to enjoy a reencounter with Jay. Kiss It Better tells the story of what happens when Jay and Sandy inch closer to being reunited.

If it sounds like I’m being oblique and vague here that’s only because I am. Kiss It Better is a carefully crafted story and a lot of its tension relies on ambiguity and mystery. Consequently I wouldn’t want to spoil one well-written word for anyone who hasn’t yet picked up a copy of this splendid title.

Once again Portia Da Costa takes her readers to the Waverley Grange Country Hotel – the hotbed of action that provided a background for such memorable titles as Suite Seventeen, Entertaining Mr Stone and In Too Deep. The characters, as always, are vividly drawn and passionately constructed and the eroticism is entertaining, exciting and engaging.

If you haven’t yet found the time for Portia Da Costa’s work, Kiss It Better is a good place to start. If you’re familiar with this author, then I don’t doubt Kiss It Better will already be on your must-have-books list.
