Blushing Books Publications

www.blushingbooks.com

Thank you for your interest in publishing with Blushing Books. You may be interested to learn that Blushing (formerly ABCD Graphics and Design) is the oldest erotic eBook publisher on the web. We have been publishing erotic fiction on the web since 1998 and publishing eBooks since 2003.

We pay our authors some of the highest rates in the industry, and unlike some publishers who scale rates based on copies sold, we pay our full rate from the first copy out the door.

Our authors receive 50% of revenue on eBook titles. Any author that places more than ten titles with us receives 60% on any new titles. (Revenues on titles for the Blushing Books in-house store are calculated after a 10% credit card processing fee is deducted.)

We pride ourselves on our quick response times to writers. Your submission will be acknowledged (and assigned to a reader) by the next business day, and you will receive a response within 1-2 weeks. In general we publish within 1-2 months of acceptance. If you send us a workable manuscript, it is reasonable for you to expect publication within 2-3 months of the time we first receive an email from you.

We are not a subsidy or vanity publisher. Our authors pay no fees for editing or cover art, or any document preparation.

We’re ALWAYS looking for new authors and new titles.

What do we accept?

We are primarily a publisher of spanking novels, and that genre is a broad one. Blushing Books publishes many books with a good deal of erotic content, but we also publish non-sexual stories containing discipline spanking scenes.

We publish all sorts of material: everything from Christian/Inspirational spanking stories, to advice books, and all the way to hot and spicy BDSM stories containing elements of ageplay, bondage, master/slave, and bottom-play and enemas.

The content of our stories could be rated ‘PG’ all the way to books that are so hot they wouldn’t HAVE a rating, but they are ALL geared for adult readers (18+) only.

Bright Desire

Bright Desire is looking for erotic and flash fiction that is positive, female-friendly, innovative and different.

EROTIC FICTION and FLASH FICTION
I am looking for high quality erotic fiction or flash fiction to feature once a month. Stories can cover any topic, however it must be erotic in nature, relatively explicit and sex positive.

I’m looking for stories that are more than just a sex scene. Blow-by-blow accounts of sex are boring. I want to see stories with interesting scenarios and fascinating characters; stories that explore the issues and emotions surrounding sex. Remember that dialogue and buildup can be just as erotic as the actual sex.

When it comes to flash fiction, I want succinct, erotic pieces that successfully get an idea across in a small number of words. Cleverness is encouraged, as are twists and out-and-out dirty hotness. Again, blow-by-blow accounts of sex aren’t encouraged, unless there’s an interesting central theme to justify it.

Erotic Stories should be a maximum of 2000 words in length.
Flash fiction stories should be a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 500 words in length.

PAYMENT
US$15 per Flash Fiction piece
US$25 per Erotic Fiction piece

Payment will be made electronically, so you must have an appropriate account the best known online payment system (who I won’t mention here due to their punitive methods of dealing with adult sites). If you cannot be paid this way, I cannot publish your work.

It has published numerous single- and multi-author anthologies in both ebook and print as well as novella-length single titles. All the work is donated, as is all the revenue. Coming Together has garnered much critical acclaim, won many awards, and set the publishing industry standard for “doing good while being bad.”

Its publications are available online at all major bookstores, and its print offerings can be special ordered via any offline bookstore.

In 2014, Coming Together became a 501(c)(3) tax exempt voluntary nonprofit association. Contributions of cash, stories, and items for fundraising auction are now tax deductible in the United States. Donation receipts will be provided upon request.

There you have the one and only Alessia Brio. In addition to serving as Coming Together’s editor, Alessia writes all colors and flavors of erotica, from heterosexual to ménage to same sex, and from twisted to humorous to deeply touching. (Sometimes, usually by accident, it even qualifies as romance.) Her work has earned her critical acclaim in the form of three EPPIEs for Erotica (Fine Flickering Hungers, Coming Together: Against the Odds, and Coming Together: Into the Light), Romantic Times Top Pick (Coming Together: For the Cure), and two Next Generation Indie Book Awards for Erotica (Squeeze Play and Coming Together: With Pride) in addition to a plethora of glowing online reviews.

Ms. Brio lives in the mountains near Pittsburgh, where she masquerades as a soccer mom. The Internet is both her office and her playground, and she can be found online at via publishing label, Purple Prosaic, in addition to Twitter and Facebook.

Submissions Guidelines
Changeling Press LLC
[email protected]

We publish Paranormal, Dark Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Futuristic, BDSM, and Action/Adventure romantic love stories. All submissions must be targeted for at least one of these genres.

What’s a Love Story? While there should be both highly erotic and romantic elements to the book, relationships and endings should be plot driven. We don’t demand your characters trot off to get married at the end of the book, though we do ask for a HEA (Happy Ever After) or, in the case of serials, a HFN (Happy For Now).

Please keep in mind, we’ve only got one heat level. Over-the-top hot! We can handle anything you send us as long as it meets our guidelines! We do not accept simultaneous submissions. We do accept multiple submissions.

Length: We accept outside submissions from 10 to 28K for single titles. Serials from unsigned authors must be submitted as a completed set.

Royalties: 35% of gross paid monthly — receive your first check within 60 days of publication. Expect to hear back from us about your submission within six to eight weeks.

What to submit: We accept submissions via email ONLY. If you do not have reliable access to the internet to be able to communicate with us electronically, you do not have the ability to promote your work electronically.

Please include:
A short cover letter including your publishing history, if any, a short “blurb” and plot summary of no more than 500 words, including genres and themes you’re targeting for this book, and whether it’s a single title or a series/serial.

Your COMPLETE manuscript, as an rtf (Rich Text File) or txt (Text) file attachment ONLY. Every word processing program has the ability to save as Rich Text or Text, and we can’t afford the possibility of viruses or malicious Macros. We simply won’t open anything that could hurt our computers.

A brief promotional plan, including links to your website, blog, journal, etc., and loops and chat sites where you plan to promote, should we accept your work for publication. Although we have an in-house promo staff, an author’s ability to promote is critical to the success of any book’s sales. You will also be expected to promote your book through active participation in the Changeling Readers’ loop, the Changeling Insider, and our online E-Zine, The Cheeky Changeling, and other regularly-scheduled promotions.

Sinful Press

Sinful Press is looking to publish erotic novels of over 60k. Advance offered.

We are interested in well-written mainstream romance, dark or paranormal erotica with strong characters and a good plotline. Sex scenes must be believable, explicit and in keeping with the chosen sub-genre.

We do have a preference for female protagonists but could be persuaded to accept male protagonists if the story is strong enough.

While we don’t expect you to have professionally edited your novel, we do expect to see minimal spelling/grammatical mistakes. In other words, we want to see a final draft not a first draft.

We will also consider novellas of 20-60k. At present we are only looking for romance, BDSM, and paranormal erotica. These will be on a royalty only basis, no advance, and while they will have the same amount of care and attention as our novels, they will only be available in ebook format.

More information can be found on our submission page at:
