This month’s review toy is the Beyond G-Spot Dildo by Ophoria. I requested this toy because I was intrigued by the sinuous curve and the promise of g-spot stimulation but I was also curious if the finger ring built into the sizeable dildo would have a positive benefit. The Beyond G-Spot Dildo arrived in a cardboard-clad clear clamshell package that, for once, didn’t mean I had to sustain a bleeding injury just to open it. Thank you, Ophoria!

One of the first things I noticed about this dildo is the heft. It’s solid silicon and surprisingly heavy. I didn’t get a chance to whip out the kitchen scale to weigh it, but it did make an impression. I’m often unhappy with silicon dildos, mostly because a good number of them seem floppy. Since I don’t possess a cure for dildo erectile dysfunction, I prefer to not be disappointed when I get into the mood. In this case, the Beyond G-Spot Dildo had some give to it and was moderately flexible but not floppy.

In size, I’d say this is an average length but maybe a tad more than average girth dildo. It’s 9 inches long but only listed as having 7 inches insertable by its manufacturer. It’s 1 ¾ inches wide at the widest point.

Even though the dildo didn’t have any bad smell or taste (yes, I licked it to check – see what I do for you?) I gave the new dildo a bath in toy cleaner and examined it carefully. Although I could see the mold join lines, they were not overly prominent or abrasive. The dildo was otherwise well finished and molded.

For once I was home alone and could play with my new toy for a bit before being interrupted and since I have no desire to delay my potential gratification, I got out the water-based lube and slicked up the dildo.

I started by experimenting with sliding the dildo between my labia, over my clit and my vaginal opening. There’s a lovely little knob place on the top of the dildo, along the ring around its circumference, that I’d not paid a lot of attention to when I first saw it but which was a nice jolt of sensation as it slid over my clit. The large knob end of the dildo did a great job of rubbing around my vagina as well. It didn’t take long for me to want some real penetration.

The Ophoria Beyond G-Spot Dildo really made my orgasm with its thick girth, and the curve of the ball end was perfect to rub across my g-spot on every thrust. The curve of the shaft allowed me to not have to perform contortions in order to get enough upward pressure to hit my g-spot and the finger ring end of the shaft I’d been so curious about turned out to be a marvelous addition. My fingers are not especially slender but I was able to use the finger-ring easily. I loved the way I didn’t continually lose my hold on the now-slippery silicon dildo when thrusting hard and fast. I will confess that the ring around the circumference of the dildo was a lovely bit of extra stimulation at my vaginal opening, even though I think it’s actually there to show the insertable limit. Rules? I don’t remember any rules….

The Beyond G-Spot Dildo is advertised for prostate massage but so far my partner hasn’t been talked into trying it, so I can’t report on that aspect. If you do choose to use it anally, I would suggest a condom just to provide extra cleanliness.

If you do not enjoy dildos with considerable heft or do not enjoy thicker dildos, the Beyond G-Spot Dildo may not be a great choice for you. The silicon material of the dildo is not as slick as hard plastic, steel or glass, so if you cannot tolerate any resistance, this may not be the dildo for you either.

If you are looking for a phthalate-free silicon dildo that doesn’t skimp on size or girth and doesn’t have some form of floppy-dick, this dildo would be a great choice for your toy box. The Ophoria Beyond G-Spot Dildo is not the cheapest dildo around but I think it’s an excellent value for its price. I highly recommend it and have given it a permanent place in my toybox, one of the few silicon dildos I’ve done that with.
